Work is finally calming down

Since last week I feel calm again. After release there is no more pressure. Things are relaxed. I wonder why we artificially make our lives harder than we need to...

Yesterday I went to the office. It was quite empty. At least I could be somewhat productive that way, usually I get only half of the things done which I usually do from my home office, as my colleagues are very, very chatty. Since I got sick the last time I used public transport to get there, I only use my car. At least I get some driving practice. I guess I would sell it otherwise. Well, maybe not, I need it in case my 73 yo father would get sick and I have to drive him around doctors. I hope it will not come to that!

In the last days I've neglected my Japanese study. I kind of feel frustrated because of the very slow progress. I even may be in regression. Hard to tell. I'm not giving up on it, however! I will consider it a short break!

As it got a bit colder, covid is on the rise again. One of my colleagues reported last Friday her daughter got infected the very first school week! And today she got it too :( Wonder when my father will drag it home. He doesn't even wash his hands after he returns home, may it be doing groceries or whatever. He is not a homebody like me, he needs to meet people. He will catch the flu sooner or later, I have no doubts. Oh well, what can I do.
